Materials Manager The primary responsibilities of this position are in the Production Planning / Scheduling, Purchasing and Inventory Control disciplines and compliance with our ISO Standards. Production Control, develop product lead and cycle times, prepare manufacturing schedules, monitor capacity planning and manpower requirements. A key focus of this position is to train the Production Scheduler in the preparation of manufacturing schedules, identification and reduction of workload bottlenecks, monitoring of open shop orders and ensuring on-time delivery targets are met. Purchasing, actively work with the Purchasing Agents and Buyers and Engineering in the sourcing, selection, evaluation and problem solving of suppliers. Inventory Control, actively working with the Purchasing Agents and Buyers, Business Units, Manufacturing and Engineering to develop min / max or reorder points based upon usage and forecasts and identify obsolete and slow moving inventory.
