PDM -Topic: Critical Chain Project Management and Execution

(CCPM) was first developed by Eli Goldratt in the early 1990s and is now  gaining popularity amongst a multitude of industries. Dramatic improvement in project cycle time and project delivery capacity has been realized by the aerospace, medical, pharmaceutical, consumer products, and construction industries.

CCPM is, primarily, a project execution methodology that takes a scientific approach to managing variation and uncertainty in projects. This scientific approach, however, requires the understanding of several counter intuitive principals for planning, scheduling, and controlling projects. During this presentation, attendees will learn the fundamentals of CCPM, the role of technology, and the valuable CCPM techniques that can be implemented immediately in any project environment.
