While most companies today, regardless of their size, have implemented anS&OP process, in recent years they are facing challenges like reduced profit margins and customer loyalty, growing global competition, and increased supply chain changes. At the same time, they find that their business growth is either below planor below potential.

To handle these challenges a mature S&OP process must evolve from merely matching or balancing demand and supply. This session will explain how a holistic approach to S&OP that integrates the results from Demand Analysis can potentially allow companies to reduce inventories and improve efficiency, profits, and revenue while maintaining healthy, longterm relationships with their customers.

About the speaker: Miguel Mota is a Senior supply chain management specialist with over 9 years of consulting experience focusing on supply chain planning projects and optimization. Over seven years of SAP APO implementation and supportexperience, leading projects and configuring the APO application. Strong supply side planning and production planning process knowledge.
